Our Story

Founded in 2023, Malachite is a youth-led nonprofit committed to promoting sustainable living and supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. What began as a small local effort has grown into a global movement for change.

We create impact by raising awareness and organizing community-driven events and projects. Through education and action, we aim to build a more sustainable and equitable future for all.

It was the littered fields on the way to my school that inspired me to start this initiative. I believe it is essential to make a beneficial change, and I strive to do this through not only this organisation but also my blog Envisage. My passions lie in history and reading, but I also practice taekwondo as a blackbelt.

Diya is a devoted member of our team with an honest soul and a passion for business. Extremely reliable, this team could not function without her contributions, especially in the field of design. Additionally, she excels in rifle shooting, reflecting her discipline and determination.

Head of Technology

Developer of our website, Sparrsh does not only have a flair for technology but he is also very innovative. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and playing the guitar.

Rikhil Ksheersagar

Head of HR

Rikhil is not only a talented badminton player and a loving dog owner, but he is also passionate about promoting sustainability. He is currently working with Malachite to spread awareness about sustainable practices and encourage others to make a positive impact on the environment.

Kanishk is not only dedicated to fostering cats and playing tennis, but he is also committed to helping sustainability and Malachite. He believes in making a positive impact on the environment and is passionate about promoting sustainable practices.
